1 Activity To Do

Each day this week engage in a ‘clear your head’ routine before going to bed or to sleep.

It is so easy to take your busy day to bed with you, making it hard to fall asleep.

Put aside the challenges of the day and ready your mind to shut down.

Have a go at different approaches and notice what works for you and capture in your reflective log.

Some ideas may be pilates, meditation, watching something easy on TV, listening to music or even journaling.

(A big shout-out to the teachers I have spoken with whom are returning to work after the holiday. Clearing the mind in readiness for the new term and each and every busy day is so important. You deserve it!)

1 Question For You

Ask yourself this simple question everyday this week…

Will I ask [xxxx person] who I have helped, to help me with [yyyyyy]  when I need it?

Think about what the response to the question says about the relationships you have with them – in particular your level of trust.

Think about what – if any – changes you might make to your relationship to further develop trust.

1 Idea To Consider

Consider this statement by Jean-Paul Sartre…

“Freedom is what you do with what’s been done to you”

Sartre invites us to embrace our capacity for self-determination and to grab the opportunity to create meaning, purpose, and fulfilment in our lives, regardless of the challenges we may face.

How do you view the connections between your past experiences and the challenges you currently face?

(Thanks to Abby and Nick for grabbing the opportunities so far. It has been a pleasure to explore and consider things together in our coaching sessions)
