1 Activity To Do

Every day this week…

Choose a conversation you are having with a friend or colleague and really notice the energy between you.

Play around with the tone and pace you use within the conversation to maximise the impact and engagement you have.

It is amazing to see the value of bringing good and appropriate energy to your interactions.

(Thanks so much to the brilliant participants and actors I was working with this week in exploring challenging conversations – it was a real pleasure!)

1 Question For You

This week ask yourself regularly…

What do most of my friends and colleagues ask me for help or assistance with?

Another way of framing this may be…

What problems do I see I am the solution to…?

Whatever it is, that’s a strong clue to what you should work on and potentially have as a key component of what you do for a job/career.

1 Idea To Consider

Consider the first time you experienced severe pain or discomfort.

What was it like, and can you even remember it?

Consider how that experience impacts your current behaviour and relationship to pain and discomfort.

(Thanks to my youngest son who has been embracing many ‘first times’ these past 2 weeks.  I am looking forward to exploring the idea of ‘first times’ further in the months ahead…)
