1 Activity To Do
This week…
Create a frustration collage using images, words, and colours that represent feelings of frustration.
You may wish to use magazines, newspapers, or printouts. As you create the collage, reflect on what aspects of frustration stand out to you the most. Are there specific triggers or situations that evoke frustration?
After completing the collage, take some time to discuss your work with a friend, colleague or coach. Explore the emotions and thoughts it brings up.
1 Question For You
Ask yourself…
How do my past experiences and unresolved emotions contribute to the recurring frustrations I encounter in my daily life, and what steps can I take to identify these triggers and work towards resolving them for a more balanced and harmonious mindset?
(Go well Julie – Thanks for opening up and sharing, and showing the value this can have!)
1 Idea To Consider
“We see the world not as it is, but as we are.”
Anaïs Nin
Anaïs Nin, a prominent author and diarist, captured the essence of projection with this insightful quote. It suggests that our perceptions of the world are heavily influenced by our own thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Projection can cause us to view others through the lens of our own inner world, attributing our feelings and characteristics to them. Being aware of this tendency can lead us to a deeper understanding of ourselves and how we interpret the world around us.

Quote of The Week
“Frustration is the first step towards improvement. I have no incentive to improve if I’m content with what I can do and if I’m completely satisfied with my pace, and if I can say, ‘the way I am doing it now is just the way I’ll be doing it for the rest of my life.’ “

Until next time… keep focussed and use that frustration in yourself and others.
