1 Activity To Do
At least 3 times each day this week…
I want you to be conscious of you and your surroundings.
Be absolutely in the moment.
Notice what you see, hear, feel and smell.
Be aware of any internal dialogue.
Quieten or even switch that dialogue off. Be in the NOW!
Can you detach from your thinking?
Reflect on what it is like to not be worrying about the past or concerned with the future.
Capture this.
A book you may like is The Power Of Now by Eckhart Tolle
(Thanks must go to my clients, CH, HC and MC who are all exploring the idea of being in the NOW!)
1 Question For You
Ask yourself this week…
When times are tough what does comparing lives against other do for you?
A deeper and follow on may be…
Why indeed do we compare our lives with others, and where does that come from? What purpose does it serve me?
Zen Shin said, “A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms.”
How can ensure I bloom?
(I have recently spoken with close family and friends in relation to ‘comparing lives with others’. When things are not going your way, it is easy (or is it!) to compare. It made me think about how this impacts on me personally. How it impacts on me blooming!)

1 Idea To Consider
This week consider…
What is “normal,” and who decides?
We often view “normal” as a standard to aim for or a comfort zone to stay within, but is it serving us—or limiting us?
Furthermore, consider this…
What if “normal” isn’t something to conform to, but something to challenge?
Imagine the potential growth, creativity, and fulfillment that could come from redefining what “normal” means in your life.
As always – do capture your reflections following your consideration of what is ‘normal’.
(This has been a real challenge and continues to be so, as I have experienced many really important changes and differences over the past 2 weeks. Also, my clients’ engagement with this notion has been a privilege to be a part of)

Quote of The Week
“Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.”
Viktor E. Frankl, Man’s Search for Meaning
Take care this week…
