1 Activity To Do

Each day this week…

Write a NOT TO-DO list.

Have at least 3 things on your NOT to-do list.

Most people have a to-do list which often becomes very long and endless.

Be focused and purposeful by deciding what you will not do, as it does not contribute or add value to you.

As always, capture what you notice.

What are you regularly not doing? How easy or difficult was it to identify things that were not valuable to you?

What was the impact on your time and productivity?

(Thanks to the 2 clients this week that have embraced this approach and have shown the value)

1 Question For You

Ask yourself this question each and every day…

It is simple yet very powerful.

Am I Mind Full or Mindful today?

There is obviously a small change in spelling but a big difference in impact.

Then ask…

What do I need to do in order to be more mindful?

Write your thoughts down and take action…

(I am conscious of the efforts LK and ML have made to be more mindful and the steps I have personally taken this week. I must thank my little black dog – Diego!)

1 Idea To Consider

This week consider what Marcus Aurelius said…

“You have power over your mind – not outside events. Realise this, and you will find strength.”

This is based on the first Stoic lesson where you are in charge of the mind.

You have a power of decision over it and can decide at any time to change the reel, or disengage from it altogether.

When you have an internal locus of control you are no longer at the mercy of the ego mind, endlessly repeating its worries, frustrations and cravings.

Instead, you can decide to follow the thoughts that lead beyond suffering to tranquility.

Take some time to consider and capture your thoughts.

(I am aware of many people this week that are ‘suffering’ and I am thinking of you!)

Quote of The Week

“The task is not to see what has never been seen before, but to think what has never been thought before about what you see every day”.
