Working With You To Reach Your Summit
1 Activity To Do
This week, ask 3 people in your network how they would describe your leadership style and approach.
How does their description align (or not) with yours?
Begin to build a picture of who you are as a leader (of others and yourself!)
Capture the detail, as well as how it made you feel when receiving the feedback.
(Thanks to the 3 coachees I have had the pleasure of speaking with this week that have explored their leadership style and approach. This is proving to be so helpful in developing their career and with job interviews)
1 Question For You
This week ask yourself the following…
What’s one risk I’ve taken that led to unexpected rewards?
What was it that proved to be the reason you decided to take the risk?
What was it about the reward that was unexpected and what was the impact and size of the reward?
What is the basis of your risk threshold and how does it help and hinder you?
Lots of very powerful questions…
(Thanks to NP for sharing his dilemma and exploring the risk/reward continuum.)

1 Idea To Consider
This week consider what Nietzsche said,
“He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how.”
What do you think? Does this principle stand true for you and those around you?
When your actions align with your core purpose, energy flows naturally, even through the most challenging of circumstances.
If you believe the principle, then you may wish to consider…:
Are you living in line with your “why”?
Also, reflect on what activities, relationships, and thoughts leave you feeling energised and alive, and which ones drain you.
(I have seen a close family member and 2 coaching clients this week shine, demonstrate great energy and articulate what has made them feel good (and also not so good!) Thanks!)
