1 Activity To Do

This weeks activity is simple and easy yet powerful.

Although simple and easy it is often not seen.

Each day this week and as many times as possible during the day Smile.

Yes – Smile!  Just smile!

A number of times throughout the last 2 weeks (including during the height of Olympic performance pressure) I have seen individuals smiling.

Using this action and associated impact and emotion to their benefit.

Notice when you smile. Notice how many times and crucially what impact it has on you and those around you.

Capture your reflections and look to build smiling as a key strategy to manage your emotions.

(The basketball player and footballer were the prompt as well as Chris M (a coaching client facing great adversity) for bringing this to life with and for me!)

1 Question For You

This week ask yourself…..

What have been the 3 key pivotal moments that have made me the person I am today.

There may be many, and if so, then put them in priority order.

What was it about those moments that makes them pivotal in my life so far and why?

Capture your pivotal moments on a timeline and take time to make sense of what this question brings up for you.

(During the Olympics it was amazing to hear so many stories behind the performances that we experienced. They were so powerful and illustrative)

1 Idea To Consider

This week consider…

In moments of doubt, consider this:

How might your choices today change the course of someone else’s life tomorrow?

Reflect on the power of the unknown impact you have as you move through the world.

In the last 2 weeks, I have been made aware of 3 separate actions I took, that unknown to me had resonated and made a positive impact (Thanks Steve H and Nick)

Consider the idea of ‘needing to know’ and what part does ‘intention’ play in your actions.
