1 Activity To Do
What does ‘networking’ mean to you?
What if I was to say ‘your network’?
Does it have a different feeling? Some people don’t like the idea of networking.
This week, consider what your network is and who is in it?
Each day this week, decide on one thing that you will do to actively enhance your network. Capture how taking this step makes you feel and the impact it has on you and those around you.
Lets make engaging and enhancing with your network a positive thing!
1 Question For You
Each day this week as you interact with friends, colleagues and family ask yourself….
What could I have done to make a positive impact on their life?
What is the value I find in the differences between us?
(The conversations I have had with Jon T this week have been a great stimulus for acknowledging and valuing difference. Thanks!)
1 Idea To Consider
Bertrand Russell once said,
“The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts.”
This quote highlights the importance of being critical of our own measurements and recognizing their limitations.
While measurement can be a powerful tool, it is not a substitute for critical thinking and reflection.
What are your thoughts?
(A mention must go to Phil C. who has grappled with this during our coaching session this week and has made some positive steps as a result.)
